April Tree Plantings

Join us to help plant trees along rivers!

As we launch into April, you know what that means…it’s tree planting season! Each year, Vermont River Conservancy organizes tree planting at riverfront sites we’ve conserved. The trees and shrubs help shade rivers to keep water cool for fish, hold soil in place to prevent erosion, and provide habitat for wildlife. This important work would not be possible without volunteers – like you!

Come learn how to plant trees effectively to ensure trees’ survival and help restore riverside trees and shrubs. Plus, you’ll gain connections with people and the natural world as you dig into the rich soil humus:
