Bellows Falls River Access

In the center of Bellows Falls, Vermont River Conservancy converted this river access from a steep eroding bank to a solid concrete path with stairs down to the waters’ edge. Paddlers can launch canoes and kayaks here, immediately downstream of the Bellows Falls Dam. While the nearby North Walpole Portage Access off of New Hampshire Route 12 also provides access downstream of the dam, this Mill Street location provides easier access to get on and off the river.
