Stevenson Paddlers' Campsite

Perched atop a shady terrace on the New Hampshire side of the Connecticut River, the campsite gives paddlers a cool spot to spend the night. The site includes a box privy, picnic table, register box, and room for three tents. Constructed by Vermont River Conservancy volunteers in 2011, the campsite is on land generously opened to the public by a private landowner.

Directions

The site is accessed from the river only. There is no public access via land. When paddling the Connecticut River, the site is approximately 1.5 miles below the Passumpsic River confluence. It is across from the north end of Stevens Island.
