Property Description: With support from the Upper Connecticut River Mitigation and Enhancement Fund, the Reggie Ellingwood Memorial Fund, and contributions from local anglers, VRC has conserved a popular river access along the Connecticut River in Columbia, New Hampshire. Many tourists also use the property to photograph the adjacent historic covered bridge. This fall, VRC will complete site improvements and then transfer the parcel to the town of Columbia, with a conservation easement protecting public access.
