Due to significant rain and flooding in most of Vermont on July 10th, with rains continuing on July 11th, currents are very strong. Also, most rivers are filled with debris, effluent, chemicals, fertilizers, etc. and are unsafe for swimming.

VRC Welcomes Joe Acampora as Summer Intern
Welcome Joe Acampora – VRC’s summer 2015 Stewardship Intern. Joe joins us with a background in real estate, along his path from Environmental Studies at the University of Vermont to an Environmental Management Master’s program in Colorado. Joe will be helping VRC monitor our easements and steward our protected river lands this summer.
