DO NOT SWIM! Vermont waters are currently unsafe. Due to significant rain and flooding in most of Vermont on July 10th, with rains continuing on July 11th, currents are very strong. Also, most rivers are filled with debris, effluent, chemicals, fertilizers, etc. and are unsafe for swimming.

The Kearneys Help Support a Healthy Missisquoi

VRC is proud to have been a part of another project that helps to support a healthy Missiquoi River. The Kearneys in Westfield, VT worked with VRC to complete a River Corridor Easement on their previously farmed land along the Missiquoi River. The Kearneys are helping to create a more stable river system up and down stream of their land after an unfortunate turn of events with Tropical Storm Irene. Read more here.
