DO NOT SWIM! Vermont waters are currently unsafe. Due to significant rain and flooding in most of Vermont on July 10th, with rains continuing on July 11th, currents are very strong. Also, most rivers are filled with debris, effluent, chemicals, fertilizers, etc. and are unsafe for swimming.

Nulhegan Hut – May Workdays

April 12, 2017

Help finish the Nulhegan Hut! This 14×16 timber framed structure, built by students and volunteers in the fall, is designed to be a base for explorations of the Nulhegan and Upper Connecticut watershed. Volunteers are invited to help install a porch, roof, windows, doors, and sheathing. Work is scheduled for May 4th-May 7th and May 26th-29th. Come for a day or make a weekend out of it by camping at the site with other volunteers. There will be a community celebration and paddle on May 29th – all are welcome!
