Welcome Megan Walker!

June 3, 2024

We are thrilled to welcome Megan Walker to our Board of Directors! Our board plays a key role in helping us protect and restore rivers throughout the state by establishing policies, securing funding to help the organization thrive, and providing leadership. Megan will expand the reach of our organization and bring a new, fresh, perspective to conversations at board meetings.

Megan holds a fish on the water.

Megan Walker

Megan is a Quality Assurance professional in the global feed industry and brings 10 years of experience in the agricultural sector focused on continuous improvement, compliance, and resource management. She lives with her partner in Highgate Springs on Carman Brook Farm, situated in the Champlain Lowlands ecoregion. The farm has sustained five generations and supports the organic maple industry. Megan enjoys biking, fishing, gardening, and exploring the many natural wonders of Vermont. She joined the board in 2024 and is grateful to foster opportunities in conservation and nature immersion.

We can’t wait to see how Megan contributes to our team, and are grateful for the donation of her time to help guide our organization. Want to meet the rest of our board members? Read about them here.
