DO NOT SWIM! Vermont waters are currently unsafe. Due to significant rain and flooding in most of Vermont on July 10th, with rains continuing on July 11th, currents are very strong. Also, most rivers are filled with debris, effluent, chemicals, fertilizers, etc. and are unsafe for swimming.

Board of Directors Interest Form

Do you have a passion for rivers? Do you love getting outside and enjoying the natural wonders of Vermont? You might be a great fit to fill an open spot on our board of directors!

As a member of the board, you will play a key role in helping us protect and restore rivers throughout the state by establishing policies, securing funding to help the organization thrive, and providing leadership. We are looking for people with a passion for the outdoors, and we welcome people of all backgrounds and interests to bring new perspectives to our team of up to 15 members.

As a first step, let us know about yourself using the form on this page. Our nominations committee will take a look and get back to you in the next few weeks. And if it turns out now isn’t the right time, don’t worry, we have lots of other ways to volunteer!
