These 70-acres of forests and wetlands provide prime habitat for ambling moose and darting trout. Listed for sale in 2006 as an ideal house-site, without Vermont River Conservancy this wildlife-rich area could have had a very different future. Luckily, today visitors can enjoy outstanding wildlife viewing and access to the adjacent Putnam State Forest.
