Sheldon River Access

Immediately adjacent to the powerhouse and dam, this site is primarily used as a portage to get around the dam. Visitors a gradual stone path down to the river and a rocky shoreline.

Directions

From I-89, take exit 19 for St. Albans and Vermont Route 104. Coming off of the exit, turn right (north) onto Vermont 104 for 2.5 miles. Continue straight onto Vermont Route 105. for 6.8 miles. Bear left onto Mill Street and drive 0.4 miles into the center of Sheldon. Turn left onto Shawville Road and drive 0.5 miles. Do not park blocking the powerhouse.
